What we build
A post-frame building for the way you use it.
Although the foundational structural framework remains consistent, selecting the ideal building comes down to your size requirements, entry preferences, and design fit for your property.
-
Shops & garages
Detached shops, garages, and storage buildings designed around the vehicles, equipment, and projects you need to protect.
- Clear span, no posts in the way
- Doors sized to what you actually own
- Concrete floor available
-
Farm buildings
Machine sheds, equipment storage, hay and livestock. Sized to the implement rather than to a catalog.
- Openings wide enough for the widest thing
- Open front, sliders, or both
- Lean-tos for Gosman buildings
-
Commercial
Shops, storage, contractor yards, showrooms, and small-business space with the clear span and flexibility a working building needs.
- Storefronts, porches and signage
- Doors where the trucks actually turn
- Shell only; you fit out the inside
-
Barndominium shells
The structure, the steel, the exterior openings and the floor. Not the inside — and this page says exactly where that line falls.
- Shell only, stated plainly
- Get the shell right before the pour
- No framing, plumbing or electrical
The same building underneath
Post frame, not a foundation
Treated posts are set in the ground with Sakrete on concrete pads, supporting the building without a poured foundation wall.
Trusses, made here
Clear-span trusses are built at Madison Truss on our property, creating open interior space without posts down the middle.
Steel, manufactured here
Metal is manufactured at Madison Metals, cut for your building, and available in coordinated paint codes across roof, siding, and trim.
Then the floor
Concrete is available and can be included in your quote. We coordinate the subcontracted pour so it is planned with the building.
7,144 buildings across nineteen counties since 2001, and more than 15,000 since 1974. How we do it · Where we build
Rather build it yourself?
We can price every building on this page as a materials kit for self-installation. When you purchase the kit, you receive an itemized materials list for your building. Overhead doors are not included in a kit.
